Immediate hiring - Warehouse Material Handler Pay rate - $18/hr Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Material Handler, where you will play a crucial role in the receiving department. You will work alongside a dedicated team, with each individual's contributions being recognized and tracked. Responsibilities + Operate within the receiving department to handle incoming materials. + Utilize RF scanners for inventory control and tracking. + Efficiently manage returns and ensure accurate record-keeping. + Lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds independently throughout the day. + Navigate narrow aisles with care and precision, maintaining safety standards. + Ascend and descend a 12ft staircase ladder confidently without a fear of heights. Essential Skills + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. + Experience with RF scanners and inventory control systems. + Capability to walk quickly for 8-12 hours per day. + Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds independently. + Comfortable working at heights using a staircase ladder. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in warehouse, material handling, or receiving roles is a plus. + Certification for operating electric pallet jacks is advantageous. Work Environment The work environment is a bustling warehouse setting, specifically in the receiving department. You will navigate through narrow aisles filled with pallets of products and empty pallets. Electric pallet jacks are used by certified operators. There is a strict policy of no cellphones, smartwatches, or other electronics. Acceptable footwear includes sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
