Your role and responsibilities The Quantum Writing Intern will be a member of IBM Quantumu2019s editorial team working to write blogs, newsletter entries, social posts, copy for product launches, events, and ongoing marketing campaigns across multiple channels and products. This intern will learn to be a voice of the IBM quantum computing team and to turn technical messages and narratives into easily digestible public-facing copy. This intern will collaborate with researchers, marketers, and the communications team to create compelling work that retains technical accuracy. They will learn to incorporate SEO best practices and other new tools to help IBM retain brand leadership in quantum computing. Required technical and professional expertise Portfolio of work demonstrating strong technical writing skills Strong organizational skills for juggling multiple projects at once Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to conduct interviews and build rapport with stakeholders Fluency in the English language, with the ability to write accurately, concisely, and with minimal errors Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand technical concepts Preferred technical and professional experience Experience workIng on an editorial team, such as an editorial team or a school newspaper Pursuing a degree in writing, journalism, computer science, and/or physicsIBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
