Specialty Vessel and Tank Field WeldersSummary: Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with supervision. Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Specialty Vessel Welders must be able to pass the following weld tests.9% Nickel Plate Test:FCAW (ENiCrMo3T1-4) - 2G, 3G, 4GSMAW (ENiCrMo-6) - 2G, 3G, 4GTank Welders must be able to pass the following weld tests.Carbon Steel Plate Test:FCAW (Flux Core) - 2G, 3G, 4GSMAW E6010 (5P) 3G, DownhillSMAW E7018 - 2G, 3G, 4GMust maintain a 95-100% pass rate on weld X-ray/visual examsMust be able to read prints and written instructions as well as follow verbal directions required to perform duties and responsibilitiesFollow welding procedure specifications when weldingMatrix Welders will receive a competitive compensation.
