Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Sr Principal DevOps Engineer u2013 11724-1. This position will be located in Belleview, NE, Roy, UT, or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel program. Basic Qualifications u2022 8 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD; or in lieu of degree, and additional 4 years of related experience. u2022 Must be a US Citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need. u2022 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months. u2022 At least 5 years of experience with build tools and package managers such as CMake, Make, npm, Maven, pip, dnf, NuGet, Gradle or MSBuild. u2022 At least 5 years of experience building software in C, C++, C#, Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python or similar language. u2022 At least 2 years of experience developing and implementing CI/CD Pipelines. u2022 At least 2 years of experience using Linux (RHEL preferred) and Microsoft operating systems. u2022 At least 2 years of experience with Static Application Security Testing tools such as Fortify, Coverity, CodeSonar or SonarQube. u2022 At least 1 year of experience with container technologies such as podman, docker or kubernetes. u2022 Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. u2022 Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues. Preferred Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in computer science or related field. u2022 Experience working as a software engineer and system administrator. u2022 Experience with the DoD DevSecOps Reference Architecture. u2022 Experience developing software using Golang. u2022 Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash. u2022 Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef. Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
