Here, you can become part of Mentor’s supportive environment where everyone excels and is valued for what they bring to the team.Join our dynamic Multi-Specialty Ambulatory team, which includes Urology, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Pulmonary, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Pre-Anesthesia and Colorectal services—primarily adult patients with one pediatric orthopedic provider. As an RN Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and overseeing daily operations, workflows and the delivery of patient care, while supporting caregiver education and development. A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.Administer RN-only medications for OBGYN, Pain, Ortho & Family Medicine.Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.Assist in preparing department specific education.Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures in various locations.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate of an accredited School of NursingCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Two years of recent RN experienceBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red CrossAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Certification within six months of hireAbility to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locationsExperience performing telephone triagePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experienceOur caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
