Opportunities abound at SOUND!SOUND Behavioral Health is growing, and we are hiring a senior clinic manager to lead clinical operations in Auburn, WA!SOUND is one of King County’s most comprehensive providers of quality mental health and addiction treatment services, supporting our area’s most vulnerable populations.A central tenet of our work is Reaching Recovery, an evidence-based clinical care model. We believe in and advocate for Diversity, Equity, Justice, and Inclusion (DEJI) for our team and clients.The senior clinic manager will lead clinical operations at our Auburn clinic. This person will emphasize teamwork, trust, professionalism, efficiency, and customer service while advancing Sound's mission. The Auburn clinic is a CCBHC site.While this team member does not provide direct clinical care or carry a caseload, previous experience leading within a clinical setting is required.Schedule:Typically Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.Location: In office at Sound Behavioral Health's Auburn clinic (4240 Auburn Way N, Auburn, WA 98002).We are accepting applications until 5:00pm on November 14.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIESOversees all clinic operations and ensures that clinic supervisor(s) and clinic staff are aware of and following Sound policies and procedures.Uses reports provided by quality and compliance, finance, and people operations to ensure the clinic is meeting KPIs and budget expectations, and clients are meeting treatment outcomes.Provides overall support for the operation.Develops and fosters a culture of collaboration, peer consultation, and commitment to professional improvement. Interprets and evaluates staff reports, observes performance and evaluates staff, problem solves clinic-related issues, including the front door, office space use, etc.Maintain appropriate staffing support through recruiting, hiring, and training clinical team members.Establishes and maintains effective working relationships both internally and externallyKEY WORK RELATIONSHIPSEstablishes and maintains positive, ethical, and professional working relationships with clinical team members, clients, and outside organizations. Relates to a wide variety of people, including members of ethnic and sexual minority populations, and is respectful of individual and cultural differences.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field (MSW, MS, MA).Required WAC approved Clinical Supervisor.5 plus years of experience managing, supervising or leading within a clinic setting.KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLSHas an advanced level of understanding of the concepts of individual and Group therapy evidenced-based practices to provide services.Possesses and routinely demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the mental and/or behavioral health and support resources of King County and has a working knowledge with state and local health delivery systems, including knowledge of various funding principles and clinical services mandates.Has proven understanding of recovery concepts in behavioral health; synthesizes and applies, as appropriate to their work at Sound.Has proven to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, while simultaneously managing crises.Establishes and maintains effective working relationships both internally and externallyCERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONSMust have a Washington State driver’s license and an insurable driving record. Driving is an essential function of this position. This position will visit hospitals, travel to various clinic locations for business needs, conduct house visits, and respond to situations in the community to support direct reports.Required - Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation.Washington State licensure LICSW or LMHC, strongly preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDSTo successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit at a desk for four or more hours a day, and use office equipment, including phones and computer keyboards, for four or more hours per day. Individuals must be able to engage vendors, team members, clients and others over the phone and in-person by voice. Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
