Position Summary Do you have a penchant for organizing, collaborating, smiling, and having fun? We are a medical stabilization unit located in a prominent hospital. Our team provides support and medical care to those patients undergoing alcohol and drug withdrawals, among other medical complications. We are looking for a rock star patient care tech that can help be the eyes, ears, and face of the unit! Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assisting and supporting the nursing department in: Administrative responsibilities. Observation rounding on patients. Performing admission screenings. Searching new intakes. Answering phones, greeting patients and their care team. Organizing records and patients. Keeping logs of activities. Work closely with nursing leadership to: Maintain communication platforms. Keep logs of activities. Contribute to culture initiatives. Spend time working with patients and providers. Help make sure the unit flows in a safe, smooth, and positive way. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Communication and a positive and high energy demeanor are paramount for the success in this role!
