Production Assembler - Night Shift

Chart Industries is currently seeking enthusiastic Production Assemblers to join the Chart ACHEs (Air Cooled Heat Exchanger) team.Chart’s Production Assembler position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s products. This position will be responsible for helping to produce high quality manufactured products used all over the world, while aiming to be as efficient and consistent as possible when putting together our products.What Will You Do?Assist in the assembly of air-cooled heat exchangersMaintain an in-depth knowledge of company and industry safety standards, procedures, and policies.Maintain required production and inspection recordsOperating overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts.Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.Discern quality of parts and materials used in ventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.Test finished products for defects.Maintain the tools used to create products.Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.People person, work will with team members and coworkers in other departments.Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawlingFrequent pushing, pulling and handling of materialOccasional climbing and working at elevated positionsRepetitive hand movements during the assembly processWorking at heights (use of fall protection)Your Experience Should Be...High School diploma or GEDMinimum 6 months manufacturing experience in a fast paced environmentFamiliarity with use of hand toolsand power tools.Understanding and use of basic blueprintsAbility to use and understand various measuring devicesOverhead crane experience.Fall protection experience.Our Benefits Package...
