Job Summary:The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Transportation Aide to assist our residents with transportation to medical appointments and other outings.This role is essential to ensuring that our residents receive safe, comfortable, and timely transportation while maintaining their dignity and providing excellent customer service.If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy interacting with elderly individuals, we encourage you to apply! Key Responsibilities: Accompany residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other required destinations. Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Ensure that all transportation-related needs of the residents are met, including coordination with family members, nursing staff, and medical personnel. Maintain and update transportation records, including appointment schedules and transportation logs. Provide emotional support to residents during trips and foster a positive experience. Assist with other tasks as assigned by management, ensuring that the residents' well-being and comfort are prioritized. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with elderly individuals, particularly in a healthcare or nursing home setting, is preferred. Ability to lift, assist, and support residents in a respectful and caring manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
