Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned projects to ensure successful delivery on schedule, within scope, and on budget.- Preconstruction: Participate in estimating, budgeting, and bidding. Develop work plans, project schedules, and subcontractor scopes of work.- Contract Management: Prepare, review, and administer contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and submittals.- Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to maintain alignment and resolve conflicts.- Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, forecasts, pay applications, and cost control measures while providing accurate reporting to leadership.- Scheduling: Develop and update project schedules, ensuring proper sequencing and resource allocation.- Quality & Safety: Enforce company and regulatory standards for quality assurance and jobsite safety, conducting site visits and inspections as needed.- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.- Closeout: Oversee punch lists, warranty documentation, and successful project turnover. Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects in the DMV region.- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and financial controls.- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.- OSHA 30 certification preferred.- Reliable transportation with ability to travel across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
