Upselling & Guest Experience Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Upselling & Guest Experience Specialist to join our aquarium team. This role focuses on maximizing revenue by promoting memberships, premium experiences, and special programs to guests, while ensuring every visitor has an exceptional and memorable experience. The ideal candidate is persuasive, enthusiastic, and passionate about engaging with guests to enhance their visit.Key Responsibilities:Actively promote and sell aquarium memberships, animal encounters, tours, special events, and other premium experiences.Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to identify opportunities for upselling and enhancing their visit.Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and KPIs.Build rapport with guests, answering questions and providing personalized recommendations.Process sales accurately through the point-of-sale system and manage transactions efficiently.Track and report sales activity, including memberships sold, upsell conversions, and revenue metrics.Collaborate with Guest Services, Marketing, and Events teams to identify opportunities for promotions and guest engagement.Maintain thorough knowledge of current pricing, promotions, and product offerings.Assist in training and mentoring other team members on upselling techniques and best practices.Qualifications:Proven experience in sales, retail, or guest services with strong upselling success.Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal fortable promoting premium experiences and handling multiple sales opportunities in a fast-paced environment.Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about achieving sales targets.Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak visitor periods.Experience with POS systems, CRM, or sales tracking tools is a plus.Passion for animals, conservation, and creating exceptional guest experiences is highly pensation & Benefits:Hourly wage plus commission opportunities based on memberships, premium experiences, and upsells.Opportunities for growth and career development within the organization.Engaging, team-oriented work environment with exposure to unique animal experiences.
