Position Summary The Nurse Manager of 5th Stainton is the leadership employee responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the management, administrative operations and clinical practice activities within one or more areas on a twenty-four-hour basis. Core Duties and Responsibilities • Provides care to patients in an organized and systematic manner according to institutional policy and in keeping with patient safety principles • Provides care to patients specific to role and collaborates with the patient, significant others and ancillary departments to become a multidisciplinary health care team whose goal is to provide care that is continuous and coordinated well • Provides for actual and anticipated education needs and includes education to meet these needs in the plan of care • Communicates proactively to the health care team plan of care changes in patient condition, the patient progress, the discharge plan and other relevant information • Serves as a clinical and education resource to others • Demonstrates competency in designated skill set as determined by patient population. Minimum Requirements • BSN from an accredited school of nursing & NJ RN License • 2 years Supervisory experience • 2 years Med/Surg experience • 2 years Critical Care experience • Demonstrated effectiveness as a group leader and participant, and has the ability to collaborate with multiple members of the health care administrative leadership teamï€ • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and develop employees • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull Preferred Qualification • MSN from an accredited school of nursing • Recent Clinical Supervisor experience Salary Range:$100,000 - $130,000 annually(Based on experience) Additional information • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
