Instrumentation & Controls Technician - Day Shift

We have an immediate opening for an Electrical & InstrumentationTechnician in Conyers, GA. Requirements: Minimum 2-5 years' experience (WILL consider entry level) Electrical & Instrumentation support of industrial equipment Troubleshooting a variety of plant equipment Experience with troubleshooting motors and valves Physical agility Main Duties: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of plant equipment. Read technical manuals and efficiently operate motorized equipment. Apply safety protocols and maintain compliance with plant policies. Other duties include: Troubleshooting of variable speed drives - logic changes, hardware maintenance, and on-going drive system upgrades. System maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC's including program and logic changes, hardwareand software upgrades, system backups, etc. Troubleshooting and maintenance of valves. Thorough knowledge of pressure, flow, and temperature application is a must. Control valves are a plus. Perform capital project support on the Electrical and Controls side. Support of maintenance- will work with the maintenance department on all issues requiring engineering support. Call rotation is included - must be willing to be on call and have ability to reach location within an hour. Troubleshooting and system maintenance and upgrades of DCS system. Spare parts inventory management.
