Environmental Field Tech

Duties & Responsibilities: o Soil, Groundwater, Soil-gas Sampling, and other Environmental Media Sampling o Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) Compliance Inspections and Related Sampling o Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Inspections o Property Inspections and Sample Collection o Working and Communicating with Property Owners and Contractors Other Tasks Could Include: o Data Logging, Entry, and Presentation o Preparation of Inspection Summaries o Report/Presentation Drafts Job Requirements: o Valid driving license with clean driving record o Frequent daily travel required with periodic overnight stays o Able to work outdoors and indoors in a variety of working environments o Team player with a positive attitude who can work across multiple disciplines o Work effectively and efficiently with a team and independently in remote settings o Must follow company and client policies and procedures o Must be authorized to work in without company sponsorship Desired Qualifications and Expertise: o OSHA hr HAZWOPER and refreshers as applicable o Certified Michigan Industrial/Construction Stormwater Operator o Certified Michigan Class A/B UST Operator o Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) This description is not a comprehensive listing of all duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee.
