DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (DevSecOps) Location: Hybrid - Must be able to sit at one of the following: Ridley Park, PA • Hazelwood, MO • Plano, TX • Oklahoma City, OK Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Duration: 6 Months (Contract) Pay Rate: $75.00 per hour (W2) Hours: Full-time Travel: None Overview We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join a Digital Analytics and Systems Health team supporting large-scale enterprise applications. This role focuses on enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of complex systems through modern DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and container orchestration, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing systems. Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production services, reducing incident frequency and recovery time. Design and implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing solutions for complete system visibility. Respond to and resolve production incidents; lead post-incident reviews and corrective actions. Develop and maintain runbooks, automation scripts, and standard operating procedures to streamline operations. Collaborate with developers to optimize code for scalability, reliability, and resilience. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies (blue/green, canary). Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning and scaling across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Apply security and compliance best practices, including secrets management and access controls. Participate in on-call rotations and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding status, risks, and resolutions. Support infrastructure resilience, redundancy, and disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring business continuity and scalable failover strategies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related technical fields. Strong Linux/Unix administration skills and proficiency with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or OpenTelemetry. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering. ITIL/ITSM or equivalent service management certification. Knowledge of regulated environments or government security standards. Familiarity with infrastructure reliability practices such as disaster recovery (RPO, RTO), data protection, and scalability modeling. Additional Information Hybrid work model - at least one day per week onsite at one of the approved locations. 30-minute virtual interview with the hiring manager and technical team. No clearance required. U.S. person status required for export compliance.
