General Foreman

Description Our client, a leading machinery company, is currently seeking an ambitious General Foreman to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include: 1) Review construction project plans and blueprints and provide recommendations 2) Consult with project engineers, supervisors, and others to identify problems with proposed projects 3) Supervise crew involved in building construction, and repair 4) Use hand and power tools to construct and repair structures 5) Coordinates and oversees activities of workers engaged in the construction, installation, and repair of structures 6) Determine the sequence of activities concerned with the fabrication, assembly, and erection of the structure 7) Assign workers to tasks to size, build, form and erect the towers 8) Ensure safety precautions are followed 9) Inspect work performed by workers, to ensure conformance with specifications 10) Perform other duties as assigned Critical Requirements 3) Recent experience in the machinery industry is strongly preferred 4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance Compensation and Other Details
