IT & Business Systems Analyst

Description We are looking for an IT & Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Oyster Bay, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in bridging technology and business needs by optimizing systems, improving workflows, and supporting IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, system coordination, and technical problem-solving. Responsibilities: u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document requirements for software projects and system enhancements. u2022 Manage and enhance the Kace ticketing system, focusing on workflow optimization and reporting. u2022 Assess and recommend technology solutions in collaboration with the IT Manager and external vendors. u2022 Coordinate system implementations, lead user training sessions, and create comprehensive documentation to support users. u2022 Partner with the Manufacturing Process Analyst to align IT strategies with operational workflows. u2022 Develop and maintain standardized IT processes, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflows across teams. u2022 Oversee the management and organization of SharePoint content and structure to improve usability. u2022 Identify opportunities for automation using Microsoft tools and third-party applications, and implement solutions. u2022 Work with external vendors to enhance website content management systems. u2022 Provide backup support for desktop and end-user IT-related issues to ensure seamless operations. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. u2022 At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or IT coordination roles. u2022 Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Proven ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively. u2022 Knowledge of software development life cycles and methodologies. u2022 Proficiency in Active Directory, Linux, VB, PowerShell, and Microsoft systems. u2022 Experience working with SharePoint, Visio, and enterprise platforms. u2022 Familiarity with ticketing systems, with preference for Kace experience.
