Collector

Description We are looking for a dedicated Collector to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role focuses on processing customer payments and managing meter disconnections efficiently and safely while maintaining a customer-centric approach. As this is a long-term contract position, you will have the opportunity to develop in-depth expertise in field collection functions and contribute to a variety of operational tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Collect and process customer payments promptly and securely. u2022 Handle meter disconnections while ensuring safety and compliance. u2022 Negotiate payment plans with customers to address their needs effectively. u2022 Develop a comprehensive understanding of collection and field processes. u2022 Collaborate with team members to implement efficient procedures. u2022 Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards during collections. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures. u2022 Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues. u2022 Contribute to validation plans and ensure accurate documentation of transactions. u2022 Maintain professionalism and flexibility in interactions with customers. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in customer service or collections. u2022 Familiarity with payment processing and negotiation techniques. u2022 Strong understanding of collection procedures and field operations. u2022 Ability to work onsite and adapt to varying schedules. u2022 Knowledge of industry regulations such as NERC and NIS standards. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. u2022 Proficiency in managing documentation and validation processes. u2022 Experience collaborating with contingent workforce teams.
