Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Inspicare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide essential care and assistance to individuals with varying needs. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, ensuring they receive the support necessary for their daily activities and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.What Youll Be Doing:- Providing Compassionate Support Assist individuals with daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.- Encouraging Independence Support skill development in communication, self-care, and social engagement.- Facilitating Community Integration Help individuals participate in community activities, appointments, and recreational events.- Ensuring Safety and Well-Being Follow care plans, medication schedules, and emergency response protocols.- Building Meaningful Relationships Foster trust and rapport with individuals, families, and team members.- Behavioral Support and Individualized Care Implement individualized behavior support plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.- Physical Assistance and Mobility Support Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring their safety during transfers.- Emergency Response and Safety Administer first aid and CPR when required, following established protocols for emergency situations.- Documentation and Compliance Document daily activities, progress, and any changes in client condition accurately.- Full-time and Part-time shifts- Pay up to $23 per hour- $1,000 New Hire Bonus After 90 days of full time employment receive a $500 bonus and after 120 days of full time employment receive the remaining $500.Requirements:- Previous experience in direct support or care giving is a plus.- Medication Administration Certification (can be obtained after hire)- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed while maintaining proper body mechanics.- Certification in CPR and First Aid (can be obtained after hire)- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others achieve their highest level of independence.- Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of clients, including availability for evenings or weekends if requiredMinimum Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED.- Must be 18+ years old.- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental abilities (preferred)- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.What Makes Inspicare Different?At Inspicare, we foster a culture rooted in compassion, integrity, and innovation.
