CNC Machinist II (2nd Shift)

The CNC Machinist II is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating numerically controlled machine tools. This role involves performing a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive workpieces, ensuring close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications. 2nd Shift: 4:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Monday - Thursday; 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Friday Shift Differential: Second shift employees are eligible for a 20% shift differential. Compensation The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $29.00 to $37.00. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education. Essential Functions + Work from programming instructions, operational data and machine set up instructions defining and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings. + Check parts for conformance to specifications. + Operators may be required to run more than one unit simultaneously + Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures.
