Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Cincinnati, Ohio. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, managing significant responsibilities in the accounting and finance field. This role involves processing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and handling various accounting tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closes. u2022 Responsible for the reconciliation of bank and general ledger accounts. u2022 Generate and post entries to the general ledger to ensure all business transactions are recorded. u2022 Assist in the preparation and reporting of financial statements. u2022 Handle other accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and payroll. u2022 Undertake ad hoc accounting projects as necessary. u2022 Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliation and monthly bank reconciliation. u2022 Ensure the accuracy of monthly account reconciliation and monthly accruals. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. u2022 Have a thorough understanding of multiple tier 1 ERP systems, such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, and Peoplesoft. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role u2022 Proficient in Month End Close and Month-end Close Activities u2022 Experience with Month-end Financial reporting and Month-end Journal Entries u2022 Knowledge of creating and maintaining Month-end Reports u2022 Proven skills in Monthly Account Reconciliation and Monthly Accruals u2022 Experience with Monthly Balance Sheet and Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation u2022 Proficient in Monthly Bank Reconciliation u2022 Thorough understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes u2022 Familiarity with General Ledger and General Ledger System u2022 Proven experience in Full Cycle Accounting u2022 Knowledge of Ledger Accounting u2022 High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must u2022 Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills u2022 Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
