This role involves full lifecycle project oversight, from strategic planning and financial management to team leadership and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be based on or willing to relocate to St. Thomas or St. Croix or be based in South Florida and travel to USVI regularly.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and mentor a team of project managers, field operations staff, and office support staff.Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with Liberty’s values.Build local capacity and talent through training and development initiatives.Work Acquisition and Client Management:Lead work acquisition team in pursuitsCoordinate with the preconstruction team to provide accurate, competitive and timely pricingIdentify and cultivate new client relationships; develop relationship with, and have the pulse of, existing clientsDirect the strategy and content of group proposals and/or presentationsRecommend operational improvements to the General ManagerEnsure client satisfaction through formal informal (client interaction, community events, etc.) channelsActively participate in industry events and associationStrategic PlanningDevelop and execute strategic plans to achieve regional business goals.Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and service diversification.Align yearly business plans with Liberty’s broader strategic objectives.Project OversightOversee planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects.Ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and scope across all phases.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.Coordinate with local and foreign vendors, subcontractors, and labor and material providers.Client & Community EngagementServe as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners and subcontractors.Represent Liberty in community forums and public engagements to foster trust and transparency.Financial ManagementPrepare and manage project budgets in collaboration with project teams.Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.Oversee regional WIP, P&L, and business planning.Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.Promote a culture of safety and risk management across all job sitesTravel RequirementsWillingness to travel frequently between project sites in St. Thoma, St. Croix, and surrounding areas.Qualifications10+ years in Commercial large-scale scaffolding project execution.Ideal candidate will bring experience in the Mission Critical Data Center sector.Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, experience can be considered in lieu.Knowledge of CAD and BIM SoftwareKnowledge of Project Planning and Cost Estimating.A strong understanding of the critical importance of project safety.Excellent communication skills.Highly Organized.Effective time managementand logical decision-making ability.Ability to effectively plan, organize and schedule.Capacity to motivate, lead and build morale of our workers.Capacity effectively handle pressure.Willingness to travel across Florida to various construction sites.Proficiency with PC and software, including Microsoft Office, Digital Takeoff programs, Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, Autocad, Microsoft Project and Timberline.High degree of concrete construction knowledge and analytical skill preferred.Strong ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.Ability to work and contribute in a professional, team-oriented environment.Willingness and ability to wear multiple hats (PM/APM/Asst. Est./Asst. BIM, etc.Ability to travel to other regions as needed.Working conditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The employee will alsospend time on the physical job site and/or in the construction trailer.
