As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, Enterprise Mobility's Corporate Legal Group is excited to announce the opening of a Corporate Counsel position!The Corporate Counsel will play an integral role in providing legal support for the Organization’s North American rental operations and the related corporate support groups. The successful candidate will collaborate with legal colleagues and business stakeholders across multiple global lines of business with a strong focus on negotiating contracts, providing regulatory analysis and tailored advice based upon an understanding and application of business operations. Primary responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, editing and negotiating a broad range of agreements, regulatory review and comparative analysis, and providing concise guidance on general corporate and preventative law initiatives along with management of outside counsel. This is a fantastic role for a candidate looking to join a driven and dynamic team and develop their career in an industry-leading in-house legal function. With the convergence of mobility solutions, the advent of internet-connected vehicles and roll-out of alternative fueled and electric vehicles, the next 5 years hold the potential to re-write the landscape in traditional vehicle mobility. As the industry evolves, we’ll be embracing new types of business that will require lawyers who are comfortable learning and advising on new areas and coming up with creative solutions to the issues of the day.This role will require someone that can think through problems, navigate the legal and regulatory environment, and find ways to facilitate change. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with business stakeholders and colleagues in the Legal Group, in their areas of expertise, in Europe, the UK and North America, working on projects globally as part of these cross-departmental functional teams. Privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis, Enterprise Mobility together with its affiliate Enterprise Fleet Management manages a diverse fleet of 2.3 million vehicles and accounted for nearly $35 billion in revenue through a network of more than 10,000 fully-staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in more than 90 countries and territories.Serve as the strategic legal advisor for senior leaders and other internal stakeholders on the planning and development of business initiatives and objectives and interpretation of legal mattersNegotiate, review and prepare a wide variety of agreements, including services agreements, supply agreements, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, and various other commercial agreementsCollaborate across all functions to develop and update policies, practices and proceduresAdvise management and operating personnel of judicial and regulatory developments affecting potential legal exposures and compliance obligations of the company.
