NetImpact Strategies is activelyseekinga highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administratorwith Cloud Focus.The ideal candidateresideswithin the DMV area with hybrid work model (3 days on-site inBethesda, MD).As a System Administrator, you willbe responsible formanaging andmaintainingserver operating systems, ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of infrastructure platforms. If you have a strong background in system administration,problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.ResponsibilitiesManage and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems for related infrastructure software and hardware.Manage and maintain on-premises or hybrid infrastructure, including Windows virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and network components.Upgrading, installing, and configuring application softwareProvide Tier 3 escalation support for complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.Administer day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure platforms.Administer and troubleshoot core cloud services, including virtual machines, container, storage and networkingDevelop and implement scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes. Executecapacityanalysis,maintainthe security posture of infrastructure systems, andmonitorperformance.Create standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation for operational upkeep.Perform platform maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture.Assistarchitecture and engineering with evaluating, making recommendations, and testing infrastructure hardware and software products.Execute Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.Assistwith developing,maintaining, and employing documented Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for backup, restoration, and system replication operations, ensuring they align with ITIL and industry best practices.Follow Enterprise directives to periodically test backup and restore operations where applicable.Aid in documenting all backup and restoration operations in logs for auditing purposes.Assistand make recommendations to improve processes, tools, and/or procedures for backup efficiency and reliability.Monitor daily performance alarms, errors, and outage trends.Review product delivery, verify hand receipts/ownership responsibilities, and ensure diagrams, sustainment, and operational documentation are available to support staff.Track pertinent system information, architecture, and performance metrics.Participate in project, leadership, and other telecommunication-related meetings.QualificationsRequired4years experiencesupporting server operations and administration.Experience managing and deploying cloud services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and Azure Active Directory.Experience in monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure to ensureoptimalperformance and reliability.Expertisein system administration, including server operating systems management and troubleshooting.Familiarity with industry-standard system administration tools and methodologies.PreferredFederal Consulting IndustryExperienceRelevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or AWS Certified SysOps AdministratorAt NetImpact Strategies, we post salary ranges in compliance with the specific labor laws and regulations of each county and state, ensuring transparency and fairness in our hiring practices. The posted salary range for this role is [90,000-135,000]. The posted salary range is not an exact indication of the actual compensation offered and is instead a range of what NetImpact, in good faith, could compensate at the lowest and most high end of the salary market. In general, NetImpact may not pay the top of the salary range. Compensations are determined by several mitigating factors including skillset, experience, trainings, location, and other factors including benefits packages.
