We are seeking a Speech Therapist with experience in hospice and/or geriatric patients to work PRN (as needed). This position is a contributing member of the interdisciplinary team, providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.Master's Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.One (1) to two (2) years' experience preferred.Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year.Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice with one year of experience under licenseAbility to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with a team of cliniciansWork closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care teamCan work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis with activities which include: phone, email and written communication, meetings with a variety of healthcare professionals, and an understanding of state and federal rules and regulationsTime management skills to manage visits, documentation, meetings (i.e.: to scheduled visits, attend required meetings, respond to urgent needs by prioritizing and triaging multiple concerns)Ability to learn an electronic medical records systemMust be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insuranceCPR Certification
