This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the company's software products meet high-quality standards through effective leadership, planning, testing, and process improvement. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with specific experience creating test plans and guiding overall QA strategies.Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, and procedures to meet quality standards and organizational goalsSupervise and guide QA team members, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure effective QA processesCreate comprehensive test plans and strategies, including defining test objectives, scope, and resource requirementsOversee and participate in test execution activities, including test case creation, test execution, and defect managementIdentify opportunities for test automation and lead the development of automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverageDefine and track quality metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of QA processes and identify areas for improvementMaintain detailed records of testing activities, test results, and defects, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to dateContinuously assess and improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectivenessIdentify and manage risks associated with product quality, providing mitigation plans as neededCollaborate closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality goals and prioritiesEnsure that QA processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practicesRequired5+ years of experience in software quality assuranceSpecific experience creating test plans for manual and automated testing1 year or more of experience providing guidance/oversight to less-experienced QA team membersPreferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
