Unlock your potential Job Summary and Qualifications PRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS: u00b7 Provides crisis assessments in med/surg hospitals u00b7 Participates in the assessment process u00b7 Coordinates, implements and completes transfer or referral process u00b7 Serves as a liaison between physicians, patients/family and the hospital u00b7 Accurately maintains files, logs and reports as requested or required u00b7 Provides crisis intervention for all age groups u00b7 Adheres to hospital policies and procedures u00b7 Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct u00b7 Conduct reflects the Companyu2019s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct u00b7 Performs other duties as requested or required This position does require versatility of working in different hospitals QAULIFICATIONS: Current Texas RN licensure or LMSW, LCSW, LPC or LPCi. Must have 1 year acute general psychiatric experience. Must have current BCLS and SAMA before completion of orientation. What qualifications you will need: + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Masters Degree + (RN) Registered Nurse, or (LPC/LMHC) Licensed Professional/Mental Health Counselor, or (LMSW/RCSW-I) Lic Master Social Worker/Reg Clin SW-Intern, or (LCSW) Clinical Social Worker, or (LPC-A/MHCI) Lic Prof Counselor Assoc/Mental Health Intern The goal of Medical City Green Oaks Hospital has been to become the premier psychiatric treatment facility in North Texas since 1983.
