Description Chief Operating Officer (COO) u2013 Manufacturing 100% Onsite u2013 Los Angeles, CA Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead all aspects of operations. This 100% onsite position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive process improvement, scale production, and build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. The COO will oversee manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and quality operations while collaborating with ownership and senior leadership to ensure efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Lead day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, logistics, and distribution. u2022 Partner with ownership and the executive team to execute strategic plans and operational initiatives. u2022 Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs. u2022 Ensure production goals are met with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. u2022 Oversee procurement, vendor management, and inventory control to support continuous production flow. u2022 Develop and monitor KPIs to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement. u2022 Collaborate with finance on budgets, forecasts, and capital investment strategies. u2022 Partner with HR on organizational development, workforce planning, and leadership training. u2022 Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. u2022 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, including senior management or COO-level leadership. u2022 Proven success managing large-scale production and supply chain operations. u2022 Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement, and operational excellence. u2022 Skilled communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results. u2022 Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making.
