Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Chatsworth, California. In this contract to hire role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of payments. Responsibilities: u2022 Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding to appropriate accounts. u2022 Manage payment transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs. u2022 Reconcile discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders to maintain accurate records. u2022 Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure timely payment of outstanding balances. u2022 Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related queries and discrepancies. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all accounts payable activities. u2022 Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to accounts payable. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations during payment processing. u2022 Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and clarifications. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and managing account coding processes. u2022 Hands-on experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment systems. u2022 Familiarity with check runs and other payment methods. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members. u2022 Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. u2022 Proficiency in financial software and tools.
