Job Summary and Responsibilities Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. If you're passionate about making a positive impact on patients' lives and thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. + Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' physical conditions. + Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings. + Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to patients. + Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. + Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for continued improvement. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. + Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in physical therapy. + some weekend commitment Job Requirements + Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy holding a Baccalaureate Degree or higher is required. + Current California Physical Therapy licensure required (PTL) + Recent graduates who are board-eligible will be considered for provisional appointments. + Current CPR (AHA BLS) + Fire Safety card required. (must obtain 90 days from start date) Training: + Academic curriculum will include coursework on growth and development, gerontology, adult, and geriatric populations. + New applicants must present documentation of continuing education or experience. Upon annual appraisal must demonstrate participation in external continuing education. + Therapists will apply for and obtain CCS paneling once a year, equivalent to pediatric experience.
