Apply Today Job Summary and Qualifications Our Respiratory department is a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy and will provide you the tools and resources you need to succeed in our organization. As a Supervisor on our Respiratory team, you will provide supervision for all aspects of Respiratory Care Services and will be responsible for shift operations of the department. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity Your duties and responsibilities may include: u00b7 Provide leadership and are responsible for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments and staff on a daily basis u00b7 Ensure department's standards of practice, policies and procedures meet legal and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements u00b7 Conduct respiratory assessments of patients as indicated within scope of practice u00b7 Administer medications and perform various clinical modalities as prescribed by physicians Requirements: u00b7 Completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program u00b7 Associate Degree or equivalent; Bacheloru2019s Degree preferred u00b7 Clear/active Florida licensure: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) u00b7 Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire u00b7 Required within 6 months of hire: u2022 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) u2022 Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) u00b7 Minimum of five years of experience in clinical respiratory therapy in an acute hospital environment u00b7 One year of supervisory experience u00b7 Critical thinking, service excellence and top-notch interpersonal communication skills u00b7 Ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions u00b7 PC skills HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400 bed acute care hospital in Brandon, FL.
