We promote internally whenever possible and provide frequent training opportunities in several formats to help you meet your personal and career goals.Pay:$30/hrShift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; on-call until 12am, some weekend work necessaryElectrical certification andPlumbing certification requiredPrimary Responsibilities:Responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment. Performs complex building repairs using various technical skills (i.e., carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.) Assists in maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Directs work and supervises vendors/technicians who repair and maintain equipment and/or systems. Conducts weekly and monthly building inspections to identify needed repairs and safety hazards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Performs a wide variety of repairs throughout the facility including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry. Ensures proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials, and systems.Schedules, directs, and ensures satisfactory completion of work performed by vendors.Schedules and facilitates vendor testing of emergency generator, sprinker system alarms and other systemsInspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; records data from inspections.Provides support with conference room set-up for meetings, caterings, and events.Ensures receipt and accountability for all deliveries including Federal Express, office supplies, and postal service.Maintains positive interactions with associates at all levels of the organization in providing outstanding service and support.Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.Perform building and grounds maintenance and general upkeep duties as needed.Assist Facilities Manager and other personnel with installations, modifications, adjustments and replacements of tools equipment and any other maintenance projects as assigned.Maintain warehouse, operate power equipment to sweep, wash warehouse floors, aisles, clean-up spills, remove trash and debris.Perform scheduled custodial duties, paint, scrape, power wash and other projects as assigned, fill and maintain the cardboard baler.Perform light maintenance (e.g., change light bulbs, unstop toilets, clean carpets, duct work, set-up conference rooms, etc) as needed.Assist warehouse personnel, outside contractors and maintenance personnel on special maintenance projects as directed.At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties and complete all required paperwork.Perform PMs on all equipment to include but not limited to, Conveyor/Powered Industrial Trucks/Specialized Equipment.Ability to make repairs as needed.Responsible for completing Work Orders.Maintenance recap reports accurate and submitted daily to municate with vendors and provide quotes for management review.Performs other related duties as assigned.
