Job Title: Edge Banding Operator (2nd Shift) - $17.50/hour Company Overview: This specializes in building custom wood furniture and trim, particularly cabinets. They operate continuously except for holidays, and the facility features heated floors for winter comfort. Job Description: We are looking for an Edge Banding Operator to join our team. In this role, you will: Operate an edge banding machine. Load wooden panels (14 to 90 inches, 5 to 30 pounds) onto the machine by hand. Retrieve panels from a cart and feed them into the machine. Collect finished panels from the belt and place them on an empty cart. Assist CNC Machinists by loading and unloading panels into/from CNC machines as needed. Expected Results: Complete all orders to meet customer needs, focusing on quality over quantity. Qualities Required: Attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team. Equipment Used: Bending Machine. Benefits: Major holidays off. 1 week of vacation per year, increasing to 2 weeks after 3 years. Medical and vision insurance after 90 days. IRA matching 3% after 90 days. Work Hours: Afternoon/Evening Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift between 5 to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand for the entire shift, walk between stations, and bend and twist as needed.
