Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on GAAP compliance. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial health of our organization. The Staff Accountant will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Duties Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of accounts. Manage balance sheet reconciliation and regulatory reporting requirements. Assist in tax preparation and compliance activities. Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial regulations. Experience with financial services is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Prior experience in general ledger reconciliation and regulatory reporting is highly desirable.
