DoE #IT Support Technician #ITjobsJob Responsibilities:IT SupportProvide first-line support to end users via phone, email, chat or in person.Troubleshoot and resolves issues with Windows and Linux workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.Support peripherals (printers, monitors, docking stations, etc.)Install, configure and update software applicationsPerform routine maintenance (system updates, password resets, account provisioning).Assist with new hire onboarding (system setup, accounts, equipment).Support conference room and remote meeting technology.Track and document issues in the IT ticketing system.Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed.Assist with hardware inventory and asset management.Help maintain basic network connectivity.Contribute to IT documentation (how-to guides, knowledge base articles, training material).Cybersecurity & Compliance SupportAssist with vulnerability scanning, patching, and system hardening.Support log management and monitoring activities under supervision.Help maintain compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and other frameworks.Contribute to documentation (policies, procedures, user training guides).Participate in security awareness training and help deliver content to staff.Assist with incident response preparation (playbooks, contact lists, escalation).Support annual or periodic internal audits and compliance checks.Required Qualifications:Associate
