Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is 'On-Site' at the location detailed in the job post.This is a full time, exempt position.Job Responsibilities:Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance at all times through thorough understanding of ADM and Plant policies and practices, and routine cross-department auditing.Is the Incident Command PIC (Person In Charge) on shift and is responsible for conducting monthly activities and drills.Ensures that incidents which occur on their shift have investigations that are done in a timely manner and adequately reported.Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and practices and recommends changes and/or improvements as needed.Mentors and helps train new Shift Supervisors.Coordinates all maintenance resources in the absence of day shift maintenance management. Strives to adhere to the schedule to maximize efficiency, while addressing any immediate plant operational needs.Works with the Shift Supervisors to maintain discipline within shift and discuss the need for appropriate disciplinary action with the Area Superintendent and Human Resources Manager.Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of plant-wide operations and is responsible for decision making in all areas of the operation in the absence of day shift management.Make vital contacts with safety, quality, environmental, and management where appropriate.Acts as the main contact for all security issues in the absence of day shift management.May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assignedReports to Refinery Production Manager.
