The Psychiatrist will examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients within scope of practice. The Psychiatrist will assess and evaluate patients across the lifespan for psychiatric disorders, provide psychopharmacological treatment, and arrange appropriate follow up. He/She will collaborate with the behavioral health care team in assessing, planning, and implementing the patient's care plan.Our outpatient behavioral health clinics operate at a fast pace, and this position requires a dedicated, focused, and energetic provider. Our behavioral health patient population is comprised of individuals presenting with a range of psychiatric disorders, many of whom have co-occurring substance abuse issues.What you need to bring to this role: Current Florida License as a PsychiatristMinimum of 1+ years clinical experience preferredCurrent CPR certificationExcellent active listening and interpersonal skillsMust be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshootMust be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set prioritiesA strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude MAT certification is a plusBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not requiredSign-on bonus $10,000 **MCR Health is a drug-free workplace.
