Successful candidates will also take part in the interview selection process.What You Will DoMaintain and troubleshoot electrical issues; apply knowledge around wiring schematicsApply knowledge of instrumentation principles such as Pressure, level, Flow, and TemperatureSupport projects in mill as Journeyman E&I technicianApply knowledge of PLC platforms for Rockwell PLC 5 and Control Logix. Edit programs and search programs to find equipment and understand ladder logicApply knowledge of Switchgear and the hazards involved in racking in and out of breakers from 480 Volts-12,470 VoltsApply knowledge of Induction, Synchronous, Wound Rotor, DC, and difference between how these motors work in the industrial environmentComplete the NCCER electrical program at CVCC.Work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as neededWorkat heights, and in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environmentPerform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for at least 10 hours a dayWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience using a computer for email, internet, and other computer applicationsQualified applicants must have at least one of the following: Journeyman Electrician card;or Associate degree or higher in Industrial Electricity, Instrumentation, Electrical & Control Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field;or At least three (3) years that demonstrates technical knowledge with PLCs, voltage, wiring schematics, and other related electrical and instrumentation areas (obtained through military experience in a related field, apprenticeship in a related field, or recent college coursework in related field such as Principles of Technology, Electrical Control Systems, Control Theory, etc.)What Will Put You AheadPaper Mill experienceAt least one (1) year of training or experience in areas such as PLCs, voltage, wiring schematics, etc.At least one (1) year of training or experience 753/755 Rockwell VFD troubleshootingAt least one (1) year of training or experience with digital control valvesAt least one (1) year of training or experience with ethernet communication networkAt least one (1) year or training or experience in process instrumentationOur BenefitsOur goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
