Description Chaplain at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour, Night shifts. The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve. Required Qualifications: + Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies similarly accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations. Or equivalent educ/experience + Coursework/Training and Four clinical pastoral education units. + Within 3 years of hire National Chaplain Certification + California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire Why Join Providence?
