Human Resources Generalist (HR) Growing Manufacturing Company in Bergen County is seeking bi-lingual English & Spanish HR Generalist. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3 years in Human Resources ready to expand their career! Job Duties: Manages HRIS administrative tasks - new hire through terminations. Creation and Maintenance of standard and ad hoc reports for headcount, compensation, and labor statistic purposes Manage the FMLA and LOA process for tracking and compliance purposes. Communicate issues with the HR Director on a weekly or as needed basis. Administer health, dental, vision, voluntary benefits programs; manage vendor databases; respond to employee inquiries. Participate in annual open enrollment processes. Plan and participate in annual health fair and quarterly wellness events Maintain personnel and benefit files Administer Service Award and Employee Recognition Awards Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred 1-3 years supporting a human resources department or function. Basic understanding of HR Concepts, including: HRIS, Benefits, Performance Management, Employment, Employee Policies and Procedures. Experience with HRIS software applications and report writers Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus. Skilled computer knowledge with Microsoft office.
