Powder Coater

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Powder Coater a local manufacturer of parts and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in surface preparation, coating application, and quality inspection of finished parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes that meet customer and company standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and clean metal parts prior to coating (e.g., washing, sanding, masking). Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens. Apply powder coatings evenly and efficiently according to job specifications. Monitor coating thickness, color consistency, and finish quality. Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Pay: $16.00/HR+ DOE Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred. Familiarity with coating materials, spray equipment, and curing processes. Ability to read and follow blueprints, work orders, and safety instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Team player with a positive, reliable work ethic.
