If that sounds like you, please apply today Competitive salary, hybrid schedule, great benefits, and generous time off Responsibilities: u2022 Responsibilities will include document organization, review all relevant pleadings and documents and entering/updating events in relevant database; file maintenance; preparation for depositions and trials; and typing, formatting, and proofreading a variety of legal correspondence, briefs, motions, and pleadings u2022 Cite-check, proofread, and Bluebook legal documents u2022 Conduct investigative research to gather relevant information for case preparation u2022 Summarize transcripts from depositions, hearings, and other proceedings u2022 Drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents and filing them with the court u2022 Coordinate and summarize depositions u2022 Conduct legal research and factual investigation u2022 Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses / prepare legal documents and draft communication for supervising lawyer u2022 Perform legal research and collect and summarize relevant case information Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, including civil litigation and trial preparation. u2022 Proficiency in case management software and other legal technology tools. u2022 Strong knowledge of discovery processes, including document production and interrogatories. u2022 Exceptional skills in legal research, writing, and document drafting. u2022 Experience in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials. u2022 Familiarity with legal citation standards, including Bluebook formatting. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
