Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Byron, New York. This contract position requires a proactive individual who excels in providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking systems. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations for both office and manufacturing environments while maintaining high standards of customer service. Responsibilities: u2022 Configure and troubleshoot networking equipment, including switches, cabling, VLANs, and related setups. u2022 Install and set up hardware and workstations for office spaces and manufacturing facilities. u2022 Deploy Intune-managed devices and install necessary software to meet user needs. u2022 Assist in transitioning software applications from local servers to VMware or Azure platforms. u2022 Provide timely and effective technical support to end users, ensuring minimal disruptions. u2022 Manage and maintain Windows 10/11 systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. u2022 Utilize hardware imaging and deployment tools to streamline device setup and maintenance. u2022 Collaborate with team members on networking and system improvements. u2022 Deliver excellent customer service by addressing and resolving technical issues promptly. u2022 Document processes and solutions to enhance the efficiency of support operations. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in networking setups and troubleshooting, including Cisco, Meraki, or similar technologies. u2022 Hands-on experience with hardware installation, workstation setup, and imaging tools. u2022 Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Azure Active Directory. u2022 Knowledge of VMware and cloud-based systems. u2022 Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems. u2022 Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. u2022 Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
