IT Support Technician

Description u2022 Install, configure and maintain Windows corporate devices and peripherals, including off-hours support, as necessary u2022 Provide direct end-user support. Ensure that all calls and trouble tickets are entered and managed in ticket tracking software in a timely manner u2022 Keep customers informed on request status and progress u2022 Troubleshoot incidents including but not limited to Desktop, Application, Network and Telecom u2022 Identify reoccurring incidents and escalate as appropriate u2022 Work on special projects, as needed u2022 Prepare in advance for new releases and rollouts to anticipate customer inquiries u2022 Write technical training and usage documentation for user and/or team use u2022 Research questions and issues of open incidents u2022 Provide management information and recommendations for service improvements u2022 Submit new solutions of resolved incidents to knowledge database u2022 Other duties as assigned Top Skills' Details 1) Active directory: Experience granting permissions, resetting passwords, and creating distribution groups. 2) Windows 7 support: Experience troubleshooting windows 7/10. 3) Hardware support: Experience supporting laptops, desktops, and tablets. 4) Ticketing systems: Experience working with a ticketing system and managing how tickets are distributed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
