The Senior Receptionist will be responsible for engaging all Clients, Guests, Vendors, and Employees entering the reception center, and will always display an energetic, friendly, approachable demeanor. Responsibilities u2022Supporting the Reception Services Manager by ensuring that every guest is greeted with enthusiasm and has a memorable experience. u2022Greet all guests/visitors, ensure eye contact is made within 10 ft. of entrances u2022Greeting internal and external clients with a smile, acknowledging them promptly, using the agreed welcome u201cGood Morning/Good Afternoonu2026u201d u2022Act as way-finders and hospitality services resources for all guests. u2022Speaking freely and warmly, engaging clients and guests while efficiently assisting in the check-in process or escorting them to their destination u2022Register guests in building security system u2022Escort guests to their destination u2022Assist customers in booking conference room according to their needs u2022Reviewing and committing to memory the profiles of VIP guests expected for the day. u2022Recognizing and welcoming VIP guests using service excellence standards. u2022Maintaining a strong awareness of business activity and communicating all updates with your team members. u2022Communicating effectively with team members and passing on necessary information to colleagues that may arise during the escorting process. u2022Aid according to business needs e.g. lunch cover, callouts, and general support. u2022Supporting the training of new associates and completing checklists accordingly. u2022Taking part in the cross-training program which covers all areas of the department, when available. u2022Building and maintaining a relationship with employees and repeat guests, enhancing their overall experience. u2022Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures u2022Ensure all issues are communicated to the Reception Services Manager and employees where necessary u2022Maintains an understanding of the client culture, key areas of activity and creating u201ctransparencyu201d by serving as an extension of the client u2022Having a thorough understanding of the Firmu2019s emergency procedures and being prepared to carry out designated tasks in the event of a fire or other emergency. u2022Adhering to Hospitality signature look u2022Ability to memorize FAQu2018s and speak knowledgably about the building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and New York City u2018happenings. u2022Frequent standing and walking in the building lobby throughout shift. u2022Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. u2022All other duties as assigned Key Competencies u2022A High School Diploma with two years of relevant Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a hotel or corporate hospitality environment u2022Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and juggle many tasks simultaneously. u2022Excellent oral and written communication skills. u2022Strong computer skills and knowledge of Office technology and equipment. u2022Ability to work calmly and effectively in stressful situations. u2022Exceptional client service skills to exceed expectations u2022Punctual, dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of details. u2022Discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality Apply to Rapport today _Rapport is a specialized division of FLIK Hospitality Group and a member of Compass Group USA_ Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
