Sr Technical Trainer

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Reviews, critiques and delivers technical training curriculum for training. Works directly with the manufacturer to assure training information is current and correct. Collaborates with cross-divisional team subject matter experts (SMEu2019s) to ensure classes reflect current training requirements of all applicable devices. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: u00b7 Acts as a subject matter expert in all aspects of FME equipment training including material and lesson plans, train the trainer training, scheduling and ongoing in-service training. u00b7 Assures that all training material is current, and content is compliant with standards established by the manufacturer. u00b7 Assists in scheduling and utilizing qualified Technical trainers, assuring that material used by trainers are compliant with current standards, and continuing education/recertification of trainers are completed. u00b7 Develop, implement and maintain technical training schedules within the assigned function(s) to ensure all necessary employees are appropriately trained to install, test, calibrate, maintain and/or troubleshoot all applicable devices as appropriate to role and in compliance with company policies and procedures u00b7 Records, distributes, and maintains records of all applicable training documents in a timely and accurate manner to include but not limited to training materials, records of training, and certificates of training. u00b7 Supports the verification and/or validation of technical procedures, computer systems, and equipment as required. u00b7 Collaborates with customers to assure that training requirements are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. u00b7 Supports Fresenius Medical Care installation and quality assurance initiatives by cross training on roles and responsibilities, and assuming tasks for those roles as needed. u00b7 Supports the incorporation of policies and procedures developed by Fresenius Medical Care. u00b7 Recommends updates and changes to Technical policies and procedures as appropriate. u00b7 Ensures education of the appropriate personnel regarding the integrity and safety of FME equipment. u00b7 Utilizes expertise and current knowledge regarding new equipment and best practices, to provide recommendations to the customer regarding the development of new technical training tools and cost saving programs ensuring the training programs contribute to and meet the customers long term and short-term goals and objectives. u00b7 Participates in employee satisfaction and recognition programs. u00b7 Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner. u00b7 Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. u00b7 Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. u00b7 Receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. u00b7 May provide assistance to junior level staff with more complex tasks that require a higher level of understanding of functions. u00b7 May escalate issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary. u00b7 Mentor other staff as applicable. u00b7 Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations. u00b7 Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor. u00b7 Other duties as assigned. Some equipment lifting is required. SUPERVISION: u00b7 None EDUCATION: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s Degree; in Electronics or Bio-Medical Engineering or equivalent experience and education preferred; Advanced Degree desirable. u00b7 National Biomedical Certification is preferred. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: u00b7 5 u2013 8 yearsu2019 related experience in the Dialysis Field or related Training experience or a Batcheleru2019s degree with 3 yearsu2019 experience; or equivalent directly related work experience. u00b7 A minimum of five (5) yearsu2019 experience in the dialysis field. as a Technician preferred. u00b7 Background as Technical Services trainer or educator of at least 2-3 years preferred. u00b7 Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, motivating employees, performance management, and decision making. The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidateu2019s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
