Harness Engineer -DevOps (Remote) Location Remote Experience: 10+ years Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future We are seeking a skilled and proactive Harness Engineer to join our DevOps team. This role focuses on leveraging the Harness.io platform to streamline CI/CD processes and enhance our Internal Developer Platform (IDP). You will play a key role in building developer-centric tools, improving automation, and ensuring secure, scalable deployments across cloud environments. Key Responsibilities u00b7 Design, implement, and maintain features within the Harness Developer Portal (IDP). u00b7 Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness.io. u00b7 Collaborate with development teams to integrate build tools and deployment workflows. u00b7 Ensure secure and efficient cloud operations across AWS and Azure. u00b7 Automate infrastructure and deployment tasks using Python. u00b7 Monitor and troubleshoot network and security configurations related to CI/CD. u00b7 Advocate for best practices in DevOps, security, and developer experience. Required Skills & Qualifications u00b7 Hands-on experience with Harness.io (CI/CD modules, IDP, Feature Flags, etc.). u00b7 Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. u00b7 Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation. u00b7 Solid understanding of networking and security principles in cloud-native environments. u00b7 Experience with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, npm) and version control (e.g., Git). u00b7 Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. u00b7 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications u00b7 Certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps tools. u00b7 Experience with other CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). u00b7 Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 11/14/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $79,240u2013 $133,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
