Job Location: 6355 E Tropical Pkwy, North Las Vegas NV 89115Duties: Develop project charter / project scope and obtaining buy-in from project stakeholders. Learn and apply Agile Methodology for Project Management. Supporting the product owner in managing communications with stakeholders, managing customer’s expectations for deliverables, and implementing an effective project governance system. Managing several concurrent projects. Decide deadlines and budget of the project accordingly. Maintain status report of the project and also keep a record of the previous reports. Compile historical data available with the team and present it for reference of senior leadership and the team members on the project. Present status reports of the project to the leadership of the organization. Help in the development and implementation of agile projects. Lead regional IT teams through multiple projects while minimizing customer's need to duplicate efforts in different global regions. Share IT and Ops data, process and procedures across regions leading to global standardization. Manage and report project schedule including critical path status, impacts and dependencies. Proactively address risks & issues, evaluating impact on critical path (if any), and developing / implementing counter measures to prevent reoccurrence. Facilitating project “Lessons Learned” sessions. Facilitate project status meetings with internal team and project stakeholders on a daily basis that includes preparation of a formal meeting agenda, review of project schedule / tasks, discussion of project issues / risks, and documentation of formal meeting minutes / action items. Foster open communication within the teams being managed and motivate these teams through individual and team recognition on a consistent basis. Keep project teams aware of relevant program / project related information including program schedule, organizational information, etc.Note: Company “Hybrid” work attendance policy: In-office work attendance required at the aforementioned office address for at least 8 times a month; telecommuting / working from home is permissible for the remainder of the same month.Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field.Minimum experience required: 10 years of experience in project management or related occupation.Minimum skills requirement: Experience developing project charter / project scope and obtaining buy-in from project stakeholders. Experience applying Agile Methodology for Project Management. Experience using DevOps as the primary tool for Project demand and management. Experience supporting product owner in managing communications with stakeholders. Experience managing customer’s expectations for deliverables. Experience implementing an effective project governance system. Experience managing several concurrent, complex projects. Experience setting deadlines and budget of the project. Experience presenting status reports of the project to the leadership of the organization. Experience defining the project’s schedule and scope while balancing with timely and regular value deliveries. Experience organizing and leading working and project status meetings. Experience documenting risks and escalating risks in a timely manner. Experience creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines. Experience mentoring and coaching Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers to apply Project Management best practices and Agile Methodology. Certified PMP. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
