Senior Software Developer- Secret Clearance Required

IMG is hiring a Senior Software Developer to develop and test custom applications for government systems. They will develop high quality code, perform and remediate vulnerabilities according to cybersecurity principles, and execute thorough testing with great attention to detail. The software applications include both desktop and real-time applications.​Key Responsibilities:​​Develop high quality code Provide support for all aspects of the software development lifecycle ​Remediate vulnerabilities according to cybersecurity principles Develop, review, and execute test cases with attention to detail Publish engineering documentation including architectural diagrams and technical specifications Develop and perform validation and verification of user manual content ​Implement database design changes Perform code reviews Contribute to the design and architecture of softwareContribute to database design change effortsDevelop, review, and maintain test plans​Requirements​​Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or information technology6+ years of relevant experience to include one or more of the following:C#, Visual Basic, JavaScript, C++, and the .NET FrameworkExpertise in software engineering practices and software lifecycle modelsExperience with Dev/Ops environmentsFamiliarity with database architecture​Ability to identify and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilitiesExperience in creating and executing detailed test plans for new and updated applicationsCapability to identify and document test defects encountered while testing​Ability to troubleshoot defects to determine root causeExperience in creating detailed test reports, proficiently updating technical manualsActive Secret or L security clearance​Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experienceStrong IT troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to articulate technical solutions and concepts through verbal and written communication in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrated multi-tasking and prioritization abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work on projects in a team environment, as well as individuallyKnowledge of chemistry principles, in particular nuclear plant chemistryFounded in 1987, IMG is a leading small business that exemplifies competence, integrity and follow-through.
