Our team works in a dynamic, safety-focused environment where there are no limits on personal or professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform instrumentation and control system services, including loop checks, commissioning, and startupInstall, calibrate, and maintain field instruments, tubing, and control systemsTroubleshoot PLC hardware, power wiring, transmitters, switches, solenoids, I/Ps, and control valvesMentor and coach apprentices to support safe, efficient task executionEnsure material selection and installations comply with standards and client requirementsMaintain detailed documentation for maintenance, quality, and testing activitiesWork in industrial environments, often around energized power/control equipmentParticipate in safety initiatives including Positive Safety Reporting and client inspectionsSupport electrical construction and maintenance activities as requiredAdhere to Shermco’s Health, Safety, Personnel, and Drug & Alcohol policiesPerform other related duties that you are assigned and trained to doQualificationsIndustrial experience is an assetIndustrial safety training/certifications considered an assetFluent in English (written and verbal)Valid driver’s license with a clean abstractWillingness to travel for out-of-town projects as requiredEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERShermco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
